All of our birds are outdoor raised here in California's Central Valley for hardiness.  Aviary birds are raised without fosters and are closed banded at 10 days of age.  Each purchase includes a Bird Care Guide and carrier at no additional charge.  Pedigrees available upon request.

TOP QUALITLY BEARDED SILKIE BANTAMS...
Our current flock currently consists of 15 Silkies who all have names and are beloved pets to our family here on our little farm in California.  We have 4 darling roosters (3 Splash, 1 White) and 11 gorgeous hens (1 Black, 2 Blue, 1 Partridge, 5 Splash, 2 White).  Other than for special orders, our flock free ranges and breeds all mixed together.  Most of our chicks are Blue & Splash.  All chicks receive Marek's Disease vaccine at hatch. We are unable to positively sex Silkies less than 6 months old.  :o)

  *Many of our guests are looking for a few higher quality hens to add to their flocks.  As a rule, we have always held back a few of "our best" little girls from each hatch for our own future breeders or greatest potential for showing.  Due to high demand -- as well as shameless begging, pleading, & bribing -- for these chicks, we are now offering them for sale when we have enough to spare.  They have the best feet, down/feathering, color, and vaults (usually females).  :o)

FERTILE HATCHING EGGS...
Pick-up is highly recommended, but shipping is available in the Spring & Fall, when weather permits.  We prefer to ship eggs via USPS Priority Mail on Monday or Tuesday so that they do not get stuck in transit over the weekend.  We do not ship eggs that are over 5 days old, but pick-ups may buy eggs up to 10 days old.  Eggs are collected 2-3 times daily, carefully marked with the date they were laid, stored at room temperature, and turned twice daily.  Any hatching eggs that are not sold by 10 days are set in our incubator.  Please visit our ABOUT page for more of our Hatching Eggs Policies.
